The Six Numbers Derived from Your Birth Date and Name And Their Significance

There are three different numbers derived from your birth date - the Destiny, the Personality, and the Attitude. There are also three numbers that are derived from you name - the Character, the Soul Urge, and the Hidden Agenda. The following explanations for these numbers are presented to clarify the importance of each of them as they relate to your personality and numerology chart.

The Character, Soul Urge and Hidden Agenda relate to your public/social personality. The Personality and Attitude numbers are associated with your intimate self -- the you that is best known by family, close friends and close career associates.

The Destiny number dominates all the other numbers in your star because it is associated with what you came to offer to and receive from this life. The other numbers express who you are from a personality and attitude standpoint.

The Three Numbers Derived from the Birth Date:

1. The Destiny number: This number is found by adding all the numbers in your date of birth together and reducing them to a single digit. As the word Destiny implies, it represents what you came into this life to accomplish, what careers are best suited to you, how you like your surroundings, who you gravitate toward and retain as friends and mates, and what activities or social atmosphere you most desire. It is the "what" you came to achieve and get out of this life.

2. The Personality number: This number is derived from the day of the month you were born. This number is representative of your "inside" personality. It influences the personality you exhibit to those who are closest to you - your family members and intimate friends. It is the "who" you are when you are just being you.

3. The Attitude number: This number is found by adding your month of birth to your day of birth and reducing it to a single digit. 4. The Character number: This number is found by adding together, and reducing to a single digit, the numbers associated with the letters in your name from birth. It represents your most public self, i.e.; the persona you exhibit at social gatherings, in the workplace, or at school. It also influences how you express your innate talents and capabilities, as well as the personality qualities you exhibit when you feel uncomfortable with your surroundings. It is the "who" you present when you are outside your most comfortable surroundings.

5. The Soul Urge number: This number is found by adding together, and reducing to a single digit, the numbers associated with the vowels in your name from birth. The Soul Urge represents the "burning desire" (or most soulful desire) behind your public persona. Its number definition offers insight as to "why" you express yourself as you do in public.
